The Cirrus Apartments were to be built with blockwork but access made this impossible. Fronting a main road, the site is doubly difficult as powerlines rule out using cranes, so the MIRA Group turned to AFS for the solution.

Chief among the advantages in using afs logicwall^® is that it needs minimal cranage, so deliveries were made readily without stopping traffic or dodging overhead dangers. And, with both products being easy to handle, the builder could stay on schedule by using afs rediwall^® for the basement construction and afs logicwall^® for all the upper levels.

After completing the basement we switched to afs logicwall^® for the 3 upper levels where, by incorporating the outer and party walls, we used a capping suspended slab to give us a ceiling cavity space to run all the services with ease.
